The LeBlanc NCSU Summer Program is a yearly program that connects our lab with local high schoolers. The goal of this program is to help high schoolers learn more about biophysics and develop important laboratory skills. Students are given the opportunity to work through a variety of labs and protocols that cover topics from Beer’s Law all the way to PCR & Gel Electrophoresis.

The NC Women of Color Research Network (NC WoCRN) is a statewide network of researchers from academia, government, and industry. The NC WoCRN’s mission is to promote career advancement by increasing the engagement of women researchers and scientists of color, forming collaborations and partnerships, and providing multi-level mentorship, outreach, and professional networking.

Dr. LeBlanc has served as a Co-chair of the NC WoCRN since 2015 and works closely with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) NC WoCRN leadership team to design professional development activities and events, such as the annual symposium.
